The symposium will feature 3 speakers who will discuss new research pertaining to eggs in health and nutrition.

The speakers are:

  • Dr. Nina Geiker (Denmark) who will discuss her research on The Effects of Dietary Protein on Human Health

  • Dr. Bruce Griffin (United Kingdom) who will speak on his research on Eggs and Diabetes

  • Dr. Mario Diaz (Spain) who will discuss his research on Egg Yolk Fractioning: Creating a Lower Cholesterol Egg

Dr. Mitch Kanter, Executive Director of Egg Nutrition Center (USA) and Director of the International Egg Nutrition Consortium will moderate the symposium, building upon the success of the inaugural event held in Edinburgh last September, which focused on "Eggs in Human Nutrition: Current Research and Future Directions."

The International Egg Nutrition Consortium (IENC) which was created in 2013 to provide member countries with a vehicle for sharing health, nutrition, and research information and advice.
