The International Egg Commission is a membership organisation dedicated to the global egg industry. We also provide the opportunity to meet and learn from each other during our Annual Conferences held twice a year.

The IEC was established at the second International Egg Conference held in Bologna, Italy in 1964.

Our Structure



The IEC is run by an Executive Board that reports to the General Assembly.  The Executive Board includes Office Holders, the members of the long-term strategy board, and the Chairmen of the key Working Groups - Production, Egg Processors International (EPI), Marketing, Economics and Membership.
