The Expert Group is to remain small and focused and consists of a Senior OIE Representative, Chief Veterinary Officers as well as leading scientists and professionals. This expert group will feed their outcomes into the larger communications network, established to disseminate research and best practice throughout the egg industry worldwide.
Avian Influenza Global Expert Group

The Avian Influenza Global Expert Group has now been formed, and will hold their first meeting in Berlin ahead of the IEC Avian Influenza Summit. This expert group aims to come up with practical ways of changing the egg industry to better manage the threat of Avian Influenza, with the ultimate long term goal of moving the commercial egg industry beyond the threat of avian influenza.
