9th September Update - Some international flights are arriving and departing Osaka Kansai airport.

Business as usual in Kyoto.

With the usual very impressive efficiency, the majority of travel in Japan is back to normal following the very bad weather on Tuesday 4th September.  The storm has passed and the city of Kyoto is open for business as usual.  IEC’s Cassy Price is already in Kyoto ensuring all the details are perfect for welcoming IEC delegates to Japan.  Cassy reports that “Whilst Kyoto was very wet and windy on Tuesday, with very strong gusts of wind, the city is back to normal now and everything is open and running as usual”.

We recommend that delegates who have flights booked to Kansai Osaka airport contact their airlines on the day before they fly to check for any route changes or delays.
