The Avian Influenza Global Expert Group has now been formed, and will hold their first meeting in Berlin ahead of the IEC Avian Influenza Summit. This expert group aims to come up with practical ways of changing the egg industry to better manage the threat of Avian Influenza, with the ultimate long term goal of moving the commercial egg industry beyond the threat of avian influenza.
